Educating the drivers of tomorrow is a special challenge for transportation firms such as National Carriers. Devoting time to inform students of the special considerations required while sharing the road with eighteen wheel tractor trailer units is a priority at NCI.
On April 1, we will work with local, state, and federal highway authorities to further educate student drivers in the Liberal KS High School. NCI will provide a semi-truck and our ‘No Zone’ trailer so each student enrolled in the LHS Drivers Education progam will have the opportunity to see what a truck driver sees from their driver’s seat. Six vehicles surrounding the truck and trailer can be hidden from the view of the truck operator.
