I have been driving a schoolbus for 13 years,looking for a better paying job have a little experience in tractor trailer driving. I have a class A cdl, but no hazmat.
Kenneth thanks for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a student training program here at NCI. Coming into trucking as a student is the route you will have to take since your experience does not contain tractor trailer combinations. The refresher program at NCI is designed around an individual having successfully completed a Class-A CDL School and at least 3 months recent experience as an over-the-road tractor trailer driver. However, there are quite a few carriers who do have well established student programs that would provide you the start you’re looking for.
