National Carriers Announces Four Million Mile Safe Driving Award
National Carriers, Inc. has recently awarded Buddy Haston a Four Million Mile Safe Driving award. Haston has driven safely without accident or incident during the past 24 years while at National Carriers. He received an embossed plague, embroidered hat and a personalized embroidered winter jacket during his recognition.
National Carriers Director of Safety, Jill Maschmeier stated, “Not many folks walk the
walk and talk the talk. Buddy is a class act. From the way he presents himself to the way he treats and respects the motoring public. He always makes me so proud he is part of our team. The customers love him and so do we!”
Haston, a former fleet owner at NCI now is an owner operator who operates within the NCI Southwest Regional Division. Originally in 1989, he began working for National Carriers on the now defunct Fleet West Division. Haston and his wife, Naomi, are residents of North Richland Hills, Texas where they are active in the Central Baptist Church in neighboring Bedford.
Buddy shared, “I believe in God and that he takes care of me out on the road. Each day I ask him to meet my needs and he does. National Carriers has been good to me and I enjoy working for them. I appreciate that they continue to emphasize safe driving practices.”
