As a child, I would look forward to the Sunday newspaper and its comic section. Scanning Blondie and Dagwood, skimming through Beetle Bailey, and glancing at Dick Tracy –then there it was, that which I had searched for. The fat, lazy, lasagna eating, sarcastic, orange cat named Garfield. Saying things he shouldn’t and not doing things he should.
Over the next month, I have asked our drivers and office staff to allow Garfield to accompany them. We hope to have photographs from around the United States of the fat cat doing “his thing”, whatever that might be. In a world with far too few opportunities to smile, I hope you enjoy following our Twitter and Facebook pages as we allow Garfield to move front and center. The night shift caught him in typical fashion in the attached photo.
