In 1968 National Carriers was incorporated for the sole purpose of serving one particular customer, National Beef Packers. NBP opened a plant in Liberal, Ks thus National Carriers evolved to serve a customer. The original premise and thought to start NCI has carried through for the following 44 years.
Simply put: without our customers we wouldn’t be here. It is very important to us to offer a variety of services to customers and also follow up with the customer to make sure we are doing things in the right way in their eyes. Customer needs have changed over the years. The more technology evolves the more information we can share with our customers. We provide this information to all of our customers. If the customer wants to know when a driver picked up, when they delivered, or how far out the truck is and with our Blue Tree satellite system we can pin point where a truck is at any time.
Each customer is a little different. Some want their information one way or a different way and we can provide the required information to share with our customers. It all goes back to taking care of the customer’s needs and what they want from a carrier.
The NCI mission statement sums it up. “To be the safest, most customer focused, and successful motor carrier is our class”
