Upon approval to attend orientation:
Each candidate will be required to pass extensive road test.
- Successful completion of orientation is required.
- Once orientation has been completed, the trainee will be assigned to a trainer.
- The trainer will be responsible for working with the trainee to get them to the point they can qualify to go solo. The actual time in training will vary with each trainee – they will each be judged on their individual performance. The faster they meet expectations, the faster they will be allowed to go solo.
- Trainees will be paid $250 for their week in orientation (successful completion required).
- Trainees will be paid $400 per week once they have been seated with their trainer.
- Once final approval to go solo has been given by Safety, each trainee will be transitioned to their assigned tractor and will begin receiving normal company driver pay for work performed.
