Southeast regional load planner Cavin Broadwell describes January Driver of the Month, Jason Dennison, with one word – dedicated.
Broadwell shares, “Jason runs from Moultrie, Georgia to Haines City, Florida six days a week. The run is 500 miles each day. When we began serving this customer, National Carriers delivered a couple loads a day. Now, we sometimes do five loads a day. Jason is one of the reasons we have been able to build this account. He has made a difference.”
“One of the best things about my job is my driver manager and load planner. Mike Holloway dispatches me and Cavin plans my loads. Together, they look out for me and my family,” stated Dennison.
Prior to trucking Dennison served in the United States Marine Corps where he earned meritorious Corporal status. After his honorable discharge he began a career in the equestrian entertainment business in Florida.
Working in nationally known venues such as Medieval Times, Dolly Parton Stampede (formerly known as Dixie Stampede) and Sinbad Universal Studios, he performed riding and trick riding feats including jumping through hoops of fire while on horseback. He rose from featured character rolls to show director before pursuing his driving career
